Spotlight: Meduza Mediterrania
Meduza Mediterrania restaurant, the latest dining concept from hospitality and lifestyle company Nobel 33, has recently completed a state-of-the-art audio installation featuring a complete sound system by K-array, designed and installed by DRVCS AV. The restaurant's commitment to providing an elevated dining experience is now enhanced by the cutting-edge technology provided by K-array.
DRVCS AV played a pivotal role in ensuring that K-array speakers were seamlessly incorporated into the sophisticated architectural designs, helping to transform Meduza Mediterrania into a premier destination where exceptional cuisine and state-of-the-art audio technology come together to provide guests with an extraordinary dining experience.
The installation includes a comprehensive selection of K-array audio equipment, specifically designed to optimize sound quality and ambiance within the restaurant. Installed discreetly within the interior of the restaurant to provide ambient background music are 20 Kayman-KY52 speakers and 18 ceiling mounted Tornado-KT2C point source speakers complemented by a powerful foundation of 22 Rumble-KU212 subwoofers, all skillfully controlled by two Kommander-KA208 amplifiers.
The restaurant now stands as a prime example of how K-array's audio solutions can elevate the entire bar and dining area, creating an immersive atmosphere where food, sound, and elegant surroundings come together to provide guests with a truly unforgettable experience. Spotlight: Penguin City Beer
In 2020, Penguin City Beer located in Youngstown, Ohio, purchased a 33,000 sq ft former manufacturing building and reimagined the space by transforming it into a 360 barrel brewery, taproom, and live event space.
The 11,000 sq ft taproom took center stage when the brewery sought out a professional audio solution. The industrial space, reminiscent of a warehouse, with corrugated steel and concrete surfaces, presented a challenging live acoustic environment.
To enhance their audio capabilities without interfering with their existing background music system, Dan Celio, owner of DanceLion LLC, decided to explore KGEAR for its portable and aesthetically pleasing audio solutions that cater to live bands and DJ events.
“With a full lighting system, sound system, and backline, we are striving to provide a one stop for all kinds of events, negating the need for setup and teardown for any wedding, meeting, karaoke night, whatever you can imagine”, said Dan Celio.
After working with Noah Siber-Sanderowitz of K-array USA to identify high SPL as a main priority, Penguin City Brewery ultimately chose a KGEAR GPX/GPXA compact yet high performance speaker system.
