Spotlight: Armstrong Ceilings

Armstrong Ceilings partnered with K-array's divisions, KSCAPE and KGEAR, along with Ohmcomm Inc for to create a contemporary corporate headquarters in Philadelphia. Their aim was to integrate professional audio and lighting solutions into the office design, prioritizing employee productivity and client experience. Embracing an open layout, they utilized KGEAR GF82 speakers for the open lounge area, and KGEAR GF22 speakers for smaller rooms strategically positioned for optimal sound reproduction.

Incorporating KSCAPE's modular RAIL system, Armstrong Ceilings audio needs were met in tandem with lighting requirements. They blended 14 Rail 24V speakers into their ceiling solutions, powered by the Kommander-KA02 amplifier, providing comprehensive sound coverage. To address issue of noise pollution in an open office setting, Moodsonic's sound-masking technology partitioned the workspace into distinct zones. This integration artfully highlighted architectural elements, saturating the office with a refined ambiance, contributing to elevated aesthetics and enhanced productivity.

The union of KSCAPE's RAIL and KGEAR systems, complemented by Moodsonic's innovative sound masking, resulted in adaptable flexibility, allowing easy adjustments to lighting configurations while maintaining optimal sound quality. This transformation showcases the power of harmonized design and advanced technology in creating inviting and sustainable workspaces, setting a new standard for contemporary office environments.
