Beyond Sound: K-array USA Partners Discover the Passion Behind the Brand in Florence

Recently, K-array USA dealers Lumi Designs and NanoTech, along with reps from Phoenix Marketing, had the unique opportunity to visit K-array Headquarters in Tuscany for the K-academy K-Experience. This immersive two day event allowed attendees to explore the K-ARRAY, KSCAPE, and KGEAR ecosystem through hands on product demonstrations, technical training, and cultural experiences that showcased the passion behind the brand. Accompanying the group were K-array USA President Rusty Waite and Residential Sales Director Siber Sanderowitz.

A Deep Dive into Innovation and Excellence

For Chris Gilroy of Phoenix Marketing, the experience was nothing short of "absolutely fantastic." One of his key takeaways was the ability to hear all the products firsthand, which really reinforced his confidence in K-array audio solutions. "Speaking through passion and understanding will assist me in coaching the team to many new opportunities," he said.

Mark Skazenski, also from Phoenix Marketing, echoed this sentiment, calling the experience "simply amazing." He was particularly impressed with how K-array products blend beautiful design with high-performance solutions. "Just a week after the trip, I met with one of our dealers and their client to discuss a new home build. I played a pair of KZ14s while describing what I saw and heard in Italy, and the client was blown away. Now our dealer is quoting at least four rooms in the home with K-array!" he shared.

A New Appreciation for Craftsmanship

The visit to the K-array factory was eye opening to the US guests. Seeing how each product is meticulously hand built and tested in house highlighted the brand's dedication to quality. "I now understand your passion for excellence. Seeing and hearing the products is one thing, but understanding and experiencing your culture is another," Gilroy noted.

Lauren Hanna of Lumi Design found the tour enlightening. "We always felt that the K-array company was special, but to see the factory and the level of passion and care that is put into every product was pretty amazing. The fact that each product is hand-built there at the factory is pretty mind-blowing,” she said. She was also particularly impressed with the K-GEAR line, noting that it will be a great fit for budget-conscious clients, including an upcoming nightclub project.

The Importance of Italian Hospitality

Beyond the technical training, the attendees were treated to an experience that went beyond expectations. From live product demos and in house concerts to an authentic Italian BBQ prepared by K-array co-founders/owners, Alessandro Tatini and Massimo Ferrati, the event was both educational and a fine example of Italian hospitality. "The in-house concert utilizing K-array gear, the demos, the owners grilling to perfection, and the incredible assortment of food and wine while being educated blew our minds," Gilroy recalled.

Hanna highlighted the opportunity to connect with international distributors and integrators, as well as K-array’s collaborations with top DJs like David Guetta. "It was great to meet the K-array team and other distributors and integrators from around the world. Another highlight was getting to connect with Madhouse and Wilfred and hear about K-array's relationship with David Guetta and other international DJs.” she said.

The Value of the K-Experience

When asked if they would recommend the K-Experience, the answer was a resounding yes. Skazenski emphasized that while technical specifications can be read, "there is nothing better than meeting the people behind the product, understanding their passion, and witnessing firsthand their dedication to delivering excellence."

Hanna agreed, saying, "It was totally enlightening to see the full product range, the actual factory production, and most of all, to hear and experience the unique sound of all of the different K-array products."

Strengthening Partnerships for the Future

As the trip came to a close, the attendees left Tuscany with a deeper understanding of K-array’s vision and an even stronger commitment to representing the brand. "Just very happy and much appreciated being a partner of such an incredible company," Skazenski said.

Gilroy summed it up best: "For us, it's all about having a story to tell. Without a true understanding of who K-array is, it can be challenging. Not anymore. Again, priceless!"
