The newly reopened Café Boulud and the debut of Maison Barnes in New York City now feature an exemplary audio installation by K-array USA. This prestigious project, executed by Architect Designs, integrates K-array’s high-quality sound solutions into the refined atmosphere of these iconic establishments.
Café Boulud, designed by Jeffrey Beers, offers a unique destination that embodies contemporary elegance and artistic detailing. The menu, crafted by renowned Chef Daniel Boulud, reflects French tradition, seasonal freshness, garden inspirations, and global culinary influences.
Maison Barnes also offers a curated menu by Chef Daniel Boulud and is a Manhattan destination that provides a sophisticated salon-like ambiance, with belle époque-inspired design by Stephanie de Ricou and Kevin Ouvré.
K-array speakers were chosen for their elegant and discreet design, perfectly complementing the architecture of both Café Boulud and Maison Barnes ensuring a pristine sound experience, aligning with the luxurious ambiance of both establishments. This is particularly important to Chef Daniel Boulud, a noted music lover. These same K-array speakers are featured in his flagship restaurant, Daniel in NYC, one of the most exclusive restaurants in the world and recently featured on the award winning television series, The Bear.
Spotlight: Port Marina and Restaurant
Port Marina and Restaurant has opened its doors after extensive renovations, offering visitors a unique dining experience on the waterfront of Cape May, New Jersey. Part of Zest Restaurant Group, this informal outdoor eatery serves up delicious seafood, refreshing drinks, and breathtaking views of the Cape May Harbor.
To complement this one of a kind setting, the owners sought an audio solution that could withstand the harsh marine environment while delivering exceptional sound quality. They turned to K-array USA and local integrator, Nanotech Solutions, to bring their vision to life.
The venue will not only serve as a restaurant but also as an entertainment hotspot, featuring guest DJs and live music performances. This versatility demanded a sound system capable of handling various audio sources and volumes while maintaining clarity and quality.
