Wisconsin Place

In the evolving landscape of modern corporate design, audio integration has become an important element in creating dynamic and versatile workspaces. The recent renovation of Wisconsin Place in Chevy Chase, Maryland, showcases how advanced audio technology can transform a corporate environment, with K-array systems providing innovative solutions that blend functionality and modern sophistication.

Boston Properties and design firm Hickok Cole collaborated to reimagine the third floor of this multi-story Class A office building. A key component of the transformation was Onyx Audio Visual's strategic installation of K-array audio systems, which addressed the acoustic challenges of a multi-purpose corporate space.

The audio solution needed to accommodate several different spaces, from indoor conference areas to an expansive 9,000 square foot outdoor terrace. K-array's compact yet powerful speakers became the ideal answer. By selecting Kobra and Vyper speakers complemented by Rumble subwoofers and Kommander amplifiers, Onyx Audio Visual created an audio ecosystem that delivers premium sound without visual interruption.

The thoughtfully planned system supports the space's flexible design that includes a multi purpose conference facility, which connects to an expansive terrace via a NanaWall glass system. K-array's advanced technology ensures that whether hosting a small team meeting or a large corporate event, the sound quality remains consistent. The discrete nature of the speakers maintains the space's sophisticated aesthetic and enhances rather than interrupts the architectural design.

Beyond technical performance, the K-array installation represents a broader trend in corporate design creating environments that prioritize employee experience and workspace flexibility. The audio system becomes more than just a sound solution; it's a necessary part of the space's ability to support collaboration, creativity, and comfort.
