2022 FIFA World Cup

K-array USA played a major part in the 22nd edition of the 2022 FIFA World Cup by taking up residence in Fox Sports brand new, state-of-the-art broadcast set located along the Corniche waterfront promenade in Doha. The impressive 360-degree studio, spanning almost 5K feet and two stories, serves as the epicenter for the network’s cutting-edge presentation of the tournament.

From design to reality, the team at veteran production company, CP Communications, and FOX made it possible for K-array’s Pinnacle KR802 II portable audio solution to be the sound reinforcements for their sports broadcast studio at the FIFA World Cup 2022

A requirement of the network's space was that there were to be no visible speakers. High-end custom structures were created, with an elegant meander motif, to house multiple high-performance K-array Pinnacle KR802 II sound systems throughout the studio complex. The all new Pinnacle KR802 II is a professional and versatile system capable of blending in but standing out with exceptional performance built as one easy to use solution for multiple applications.

“The K-array product sleek design and clean powerful sound has lent a great hand in making our sound system approach not only effective from an amplification standpoint but has also allowed us to discreetly incorporate them into all our master set designs,” said Rod Conti, Vice President, remote studio operations at Fox Sports.
